Board Liaison: Division President-Elect
Job Responsibilities:
Complete all assignments given in a timely and accurate manner. Assist the President and other Division Board members as necessary. Represent the Division to the best of your ability in a professional and courteous manner. Keep all board members fully informed at all times regarding personal activities relevant to division business. Submit a complete written report to be included as a part of the annual meeting program. Be actively involved in all Division events, at Annual Meeting, FLAN’s, chapter events, etc.
Specific Job Tasks:
Maintain conformity in Division Bylaws and Standing Rules with the International Bylaws and Standing Rules.
Notify Chapters and Division Members-at-Large of the deadline for submitting proposed amendments to these Bylaws and Standing Rules.
Keep official file of Chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules. Notify chapter when chapter bylaws and standing rules need to be reviewed and updated.
Format, suggest, and propose amendments and resolutions.
Edit/correlate all proposed amendments to the Bylaws and Standing Rules of this Division and submit them together with the committee recommendations and the reasons for the recommendations to the Board of Directors, the Chapters, and the Division Members-at-Large as specified in the current Bylaws and Standing Rules.
Submit Division Bylaws and Standing Rules and/or amendments to the Chairman of the International Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee for approval as amended or at least every four years.
Approve Chapter Bylaws and Standing Rules as amended or at least every two years.
Assist the Division Board of Directors in preparing and submitting amendments to the International Bylaws and Standing Rules to the International Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee on behalf of the Division.
